This article explores the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on international trade and marketing activities, focusing on its transformative potential and challenges. The study examines the evolution of AI technologies, highlighting their unique characteristics, such as the ability to learn, adapt, and autonomously generate outcomes. The analysis underscores the significant benefits of AI, including reduced trade costs, enhanced productivity, and the promotion of innovation, particularly in service-oriented sectors. However, the article also addresses critical challenges, such as regulatory fragmentation, ethical and social risks, and the issue of the “AI gap” between technologically advanced and developing economies. Special attention is given to the implications of AI for international trade rules and the necessity of harmonizing regulatory approaches. The study emphasizes the need for global cooperation to create inclusive, ethical, and effective frameworks for managing AI applications in trade and marketing. Recommendations are proposed to foster balanced policy convergence while supporting innovation and minimizing risks. This research highlights the importance of adapting international trade policies to the realities of AI-driven transformations to ensure equitable access to its benefits across all economies. Objective. The aim of the study is to conduct a theoretical analysis of the impact of artificial intelligence on the evolution of international trade and marketing activities, to explore its role in transforming global economic processes, and to assess the main stages of development and key achievements in AI implementation. Materials and Methods. The informational basis of the study included open sources of statistical data, reports of international organizations, analytical reviews, and scientific publications. Specifically, data from the WTO, OECD, WСO, and ISO were used to identify key trends in the development of artificial intelligence in international trade and marketing activities. The methodological toolkit included: the comparative analysis method, which enabled the identification of key advantages of AI application as well as related challenges and the issue of the “AI gap” between countries with different levels of development; and the content analysis method, which was used to analyze the development of AI in global logistics and production chains and its impact on international trade and marketing activities. Results. The article examines the evolution of artificial intelligence technologies, characterizes the main AI technologies, highlights the issue of the “AI gap” between countries with different levels of development, and proposes possible ways to harmonize international trade regulations. Perspectives. Future scientific research should focus on a more detailed analysis of methods for regulating and facilitating access to artificial intelligence technologies in international trade and marketing activities at the national, regional, and global levels.ukштучний інтелектміжнародна торгівлярегуляторна фрагментаціяінноваціїглобальна економікаartificial intelligenceinternational traderegulatory fragmentationinnovationglobal economyШтучний інтелект у міжнародній торговельно-маркетинговій діяльностіArtificial intelligence in international trade and marketing activitiesArticle339.910.25313/2520-2294-2025-5-11014
