A code switching is well-associated with translanguaging, which targets the transfer of knowledge between languages. During the last decade «in the context of multilingual education, translanguaging has been put forward as a means of including several languages in education. However, teachers often assess translanguaging-based approaches as being too vague and idealist» (J. Duarte, p. 1). The paper is dedicated to the description of the strategies oriented to the development of an intercultural competence.
