За запропонованим підходом здійснено оцінку рівня життя сільського населення України у 2014–2015 роках у регіональному розрізі. Виявлено лідерів і аутсайдерів серед областей України за рівнем життя сільських мешканців. The methodological approach to determining the living standards of rural population based on indices of regional human development is proposed. The index is calculated on five important aspects of human life: demographic development, the condition of the labor market, social environment, material welfare and living conditions of the population. On the basis of proposed approach the living standards of the rural population of Ukraine in 2014–2015 in a regional context is estimated.
