In the context of reforming the entire system of domestic health care, the problem of financial and legal regulation in the field of transplantation becomes relevant. The purpose of the article is to study the financial and legal regulation in the field of transplantation, highlight its problems and form the prospects for improvement. After a throughout analysis of all peculiarities of the transplantation in the light of law and medicine issues authors stated the barriers which should be lifted in order to open the production capacities of medical institutions in this area, which are now used by 15-25%, or not used at all.
