Percentage of training costs in organizations in Ukraine which was so extremely low was decreased from 0.3 to 0.1 %. Keeping the existing negative trends in financing of vocational on-the-job staff training could lead to a deepening of the staff crisis that is a very dangerous threat to the real economy of Ukraine. Despite the rather difficult financial situation in many Ukrainian organizations, the costs associated with staff training should be treated as priority and necessary. Organizations should conduct large-scale training of staff and managers at various levels, realizing that only trained, qualified and highly motivated staff is a critical factor in the development of enterprise and defeating competitors.
