Запропоновано типологію національних дипломатичних моделей за виокремленими автором критеріями та комплексно проаналізовано їх стратегічні переваги і обмеження з погляду реалізації державами національних інтересів на міжнародній арені. Доведено, що сучасні національні моделі економічної дипломатії у більшості випадків мають «гібридний» характер, органічно поєднуючи окремі елементи різноманітних типів їх інструментального забезпечення, інституційної й управлінської структури, геополітичної і стратегічної орієнтації. Наголошується, що у глобальних умовах спостерігається динамічна конвергенція національних моделей економічної дипломатії через зближення підходів різних держав до формування і реалізації дипломатичних практик. The article presents an in-depth and systematic analysis of the evolution of national models of economic diplomacy that have emerged over the past two centuries and provides a conceptual clarification of the principal trajectories of their convergence in the context of global economic development. It is demonstrated that these models have evolved through the complex interaction of historical, political, socio-economic, and institutional factors that have shaped the dominant megatrends of national economies’ long-term competitive advancement within the international system. A typology of national models of economic diplomacy is proposed according to the author’s analytical framework, encompassing liberal, etatist, European continental, interventionist, and mobilization types. Their structural features, strategic advantages, and inherent limitations in ensuring the realization of national interests in the global arena are examined. The study substantiates that contemporary models of economic diplomacy are predominantly hybrid in nature, integrating diverse elements of institutional structures, policy instruments, and geopolitical orientations. It emphasizes that in the formation of a post-neoliberal world order, a dynamic convergence of national diplomatic approaches is occurring through the alignment of states’ strategic, institutional, and practical dimensions of diplomacy. It is argued that the profound transformations of the global order lead to the incorporation into foreign economic policies of priorities such as the green transformation of international economic relations, economic and environmental security, digital sovereignty, and scientific-technological autonomy.
