Досліджено відмінності методології статистичного розрахунку показників купівельної активності населення та купівельної спроможності. Запропоновано включити до розрахунку показника купівельної активності населення показник обсягу реалізації послуг на одну особу, що дозволило врахувати обсяг не тільки обороту роздрібної торгівлі на одну особу, а й середньодушового послугообороту. Застосовано розширений методологічний підхід до розрахунку купівельної активності населення за регіонами країни. Проаналізовано динаміку купівельної активності населення за регіонами за останні чотири роки. Здійснено ранжування регіонів України за рівнем купівельної активності населення за 2018-2021 роки та проаналізовано зміну положення регіону у рейтингу за відповідний період. The article is devoted to expanded statistical approaches to estimation of population purchasing activity over the past four years. Differences in the methodology of statistical calculation of indicators of population purchasing activity and population purchasing power were studied. It is proposed to include the indicator of the volume of service turnover per person in the calculation of population purchasing activity, which allows taking into account the volume of not only the turnover of retail trade per person, but also the average turnover of services per capita. An extended methodological approach was applied to the calculation of purchasing activity of the population by regions of the country. The dynamics of purchasing activity of the population by region over the past four years has been analyzed. According to the results of the analysis, purchasing power of the population significantly increased in Kyiv (by 19.5%), Ternopil (+9.6%) and Chernihiv (+8%) regions. Instead, a significant decrease in the purchasing activity of the population was observed.in the Kharkiv (-18.2%), Kherson (11.5%) and Zakarpattia (-9%) regions. The ranking of the regions of Ukraine by the level of purchasing activity of the population over the past four years was carried out and the change in the position of the region in the rating was analyzed. The analysis showed that in 2021, compared to 2018, such regions as Chernihiv, Volyn, Kirovohrad and Ternopil regions significantly improved their position in the rating by population purchasing activity. At the same time, several regions of the country almost didn’t change their position in the rating by population purchasing activity. However, a third of Ukraine's regions have worsened their position that requires an appropriate government policy to increase first of all wages, the level of which remains extremely low in Ukraine.
