Визначено, що зміни в структурі зайнятого населення за сферами економічної діяльності в Європі та Україні є різними. Особливо відмінності стосується структури зайнятого населення за різними видами послуг. Пропонується розробка заходів державного впливу на розвиток перспективних видів послуг і сфер економічної діяльності.The purpose of the article is a detailed analysis of the processes of structural transformation of the labor market in developed European countries in the areas of economic activity for the development of an effective employment policy in Ukraine. In the article on the methodology of Castells, the transformational processes in the field of employment of the population are analyzed in both European countries and in Ukraine. It is determined that changes in the structure of the employed population in different spheres of economic activity in Europe and Ukraine are different. Particularly the difference concerns the structure of the employed population in different types of services. It is proposed to develop measures of state influence on the development of promising types of services and spheres of economic activity with high innovative and investment components. To industries with innovative potential include chemical, coke, pharmaceutical industry, production of plastic and rubber products, and investment includes manufacturing: computers, communication equipment; tools, equipment, equipment for various spheres; manufacture of cars, motor vehicles; construction of ships and boats, railway locomotives, air and space aircraft and other technical means. The absence of changes in the domestic trends in employment development will lead to a complete decline in production activity, which can be a significant barrier to expanded reproduction and economic growth.В статье по методологии Кастельса анализируются трансформационные процессы в сфере занятости населения как в европейских странах, так и в Украине. Определено, что изменения в структуре занятого населения по сферам экономической деятельности в Европе и Украине разные. Особенно различия касается структуры занятого населения по различным видам услуг.
