Автор наводить новий погляд на диверсифікацію як спосіб розвитку підприємства. З урахуванням вимог постіндустріальної економіки запропоновано трактувати диверсифікацію як безперервний іманентний процес, що й призводить до змін усієї економічної системи підприємства, а тому не може бути визначений як проект чи стратегія.The article is concerned with the problems of formation and support the competitive advantages of enterprises in the postindustrial economic conditions through diversification of its business activities. Author gives a new extended vision on the enterprises diversification. In the article the diversification is defined as one of the way of enterprise development in a new concept of social-economic system. Author gives evidence idea that diversification is a continuous and immanent process. Diversification in a modern interpretation and in the conditions of postindustrial economy leads to changes in the entire economic system of the enterprise through diversification of each element of system: changing the product and client portfolio, strategic direction, suppliers, technologies of management, resources etc. Therefore, diversification cannot be defined as the separate project or corporate strategy of growth.
