Abstract
У статті розглядається повсякчас актуальна проблема самовдосконалення особистості, її духовного еволюціонування. Зроблено спробу аналізу особливостей смисложиттєвих питань людського існування, що знайшли відображення у пам’ятках духовної культури часів Київської Русі.
The article deals with the actual problem of personal self-perfection, and spiritual evolution. An attempt was made to analyze the peculiarities of the meaning of life issues of human existence which found a reflection in the Kievan Rus’ time’s monuments of spiritual culture. Today, in the context of the crisis of values experienced by the Ukrainian society, the question of a spirituality revival is sharply raised through the appeal to the national historical and philosophical achievements relating to the personality’s awareness of existential meanings. Spiritual traditions of Kievan Rus’ are well-known to be decisive for the domestic culture formation. It is noted that the philosophical thought of princely era is a kind of medieval anthropologism. Ancient philosophical thought’s characteristic feature is a deepening interest in the human existence and meaning of life problems which forms a kind of «activity» approach to understanding philosophy as a unity of knowledge about the world and the doctrine of how a person should live in this world. Such aspects as understanding the world, allocation of human meaning, comprehension of the laws of human moral life are highlighted. The general picture of the world is ethicized. Consequently, the philosophical thought of Kievan Rus’ is a kind of medieval an- thropologism, since the doctrine of the nature of man in the times of Kievan Rus’ was based on a synthesized view of ancient parallelism and Christian integrity in the development of spiritual and material components of human nature. Achievement of anthropological integrity is the main task of a man in his aspirations for spiritual perfection. And, if the culture of Kievan Rus’ was an element of spiritual and symbolic culture of the Middle Ages, aimed at finding ways of spiritual formation and moral perfection, then it makes sense to consider the peculiarities of its interrelation with universal human-moral representations. Consequently, in the context of further scientific research the study of specific features of mythological-pagan worldview is important for revealing the peculiarities of philosophical attitudes formation not only of the Ukrainian Middle Ages era, but also of the entire national history.
