Abstract
У статті досліджено зміни ключових показників розвитку економіки країни (індекс приросту ВВП, індекс приросту споживчих цін, середній курс іноземної валюти, індекс зростання реальної заробітної плати) на всіх фазах економічного циклу (піднесення, бум, пік, спад, дно, депресія, стагнація). Проаналізовано динаміку депозитів населення у розрізі економічних циклів. Визначено, що
економічні цикли України носять явно «штучний» характер (вони дуже короткострокові — в середньому 2–3 роки; зміна циклів від-
бувається різко та непослідовно; дуже явним є вплив політичних подій на економічний розвиток України). Доведено, що така «штучність» економічної циклічності ускладнює аналіз та прогнозування тенденцій у банківській сфері, особливо в процесі вирішення проблем управління залученими ресурсами.
The article examines the changes in key indicators of the country’s economic development (GDP growth index, consumer price growth index, average foreign exchange rate, real wage growth index) in all phases of the economic cycle (upsurge, boom, peak, decline, bottom, depression, stagnation). The dynamics of deposits of individuals in terms of economic cycles is analyzed. It is determined that the economic cycles of Ukraine are clearly "artificial" (they are very short-lived — on average 2–3 years, the cycles are changing sharply and inconsistently; the impact of political events on Ukraine’s economic development is very obvious, since each change in the cycle is accompanied by changes in the authorities in the country, to which the population and economic entities do not have time to adapt economically). It is proved that such "artificiality" of economic cyclicality complicates the analysis and forecasting of banking trends, especially in the process of solving the problems of managing the attracted resources, since the resources involved are the main source of banking activity and require a clear understanding of how cyclical and non-cyclical changes in the economy will affect on the tendency of their formation.
