Abstract
This work attempts to formulate a coherent institution conception of finance for the information society. The essence, features and objective intended purpose of finance (financial infrastructure) of the information economy, stages of its institutionalization are studied. On the basis of the fractality principle, the architecture of the institution of finance and its subsystems are reviewed. The basic principal institution matrix of finance (financial infrastructure) of the information economy is built.
