Abstract
Crises form an integral part of socio-economic history, and they will surely persist in the future. Although history is not just about crises, these events have a dramatic impact on society and shape our ideas and behaviors in the past, present and future. As society evolves and technology advances, humanity faces more and more diverse crises. The advancement of technology brings with it new possibilities for the emergence of catastrophic events. As a consequence, our planet has become a world of accelerated change and even a "world of risk." In times of crisis, all subjects of society are forced to behave differently from normal situations if they are to survive, sustain, overcome the crisis and create new (normal) conditions for further sustainable development. This is especially true for organizations (companies, firms, companies).
