Abstract
The article offers understanding of the concept of the trading assets and their place and role as
part of the economic phenomena in the securities market based on the analysis of the evolution of
historically conditioned economic relations that form the inner meaning of the category of trading.
The interrelation between securities market and trading assets, their value for the business and
economic activities of society are investigated. The author proposes to consider trading assets as the
original research element of modern activity in the securities market on the basis of identified links
between securities market and economic life events.
