Abstract
Проаналізовано власні географічні назви в лемківських піснях, простежено семантико-структурні особливості топонімів. Указано їх значення у пісенному тексті. The article deals with its own geographical names in Lemko songs. A separate stratum of its own names in the Lemko song folklore are geographical names. Some extent allow the author to translate his ideological and thematic plan as well as to realize his aesthetic preference. Toponyms are used in song discourse, obviously acquire figurative and artistic value. First of all, with the help of a poetic toponymicon, a holistic text, in which everything is connected and subordinate, is created and serves as the means of preserving certain information. The Toponymic of Lemko singers is presented quite wide and diverse. Among these units are the following groups of geographical names:  names of the countries and geographic territories (Ukraine, Austria, America, Poland, Canada, Podillya, Egypt, Lemkivshchyna, Presovshchyna, etc.);  names of cities (Lviv, Warsaw, Krynica, Krakow, Poznan, Przemysl, Budapest, Nazareth, New York, Berdichev, Tokaj, etc.);  the names of villages (Andriivka, Bodnarka, Visova, Mokre, Tеlich, Ropitsa, Ugrin, etc.);  names of mountains and the rivers ( the Carpathians, Beskid etc.). The research of the texts of the Lemko song heritage testifies that the operation of toponymic names is connected with the plot-thematic content of the singers. Most often their own geographical names are used in ballads, in gourmet and emigrant songs. They tend to create the effect of a concrete reality, which finds its confirmation in the system of toponyms. In this case, these units mostly perform a plot-based function, indicating the localization of certain historical events. The linguistic analysis of the toponymic Lemko singers proves that it is an important means of actualizing and concretizing the artistic and poetic space. The toponymic paradigm extends to almost all thematic cycles in song folklore of Lemko’s. Own geographical names are specialized on the spatial code of songs; representing the Lemko habitat area; signal the connection between Lemkos and other territories.
