| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the article is to study s the nature, types, forms of and mechanisms for combating discrimination on the labor market. Originality of the study is to discriminatory manifestations and mechanisms of overcoming discrimination on the labor market in Ukraine and the EU. The practical value of the results is justification for available as gender and age discrimination in the labor market. Studies have shown that the level of employment and wages of women in Ukraine and the EU is significantly lower than men. Age discrimination is manifested mainly in relation to young people and those approaching retirement age. This acuity problems as gender and age inequalities are more acute in Ukraine compared with the EU. In order to overcome discriminatory manifestations the national labor market in Ukraine ratified and adopted a number normative acts of related issues; performed quotas jobs; regulated providing first job; given educational voucher; prohibited advertisements fill the vacancy specify the desired age and gender of applicants. Despite the availability of a wide range of targeted instruments, though in the labor market in Ukraine discriminatory manifestations occur. It updates an expansion of European experience to stimulate youth employment, increased state control over the observance of law and security in the workplace, gender quotas and so on. Prospects for further scientific studies are further monitoring manifestations of discrimination on the national labor market in the context of European trends and experiences of overcoming. | uk |
