    Трансформаційні зміни інституту Президента в Україні

    У ході дослідження було здійснено комплексний аналіз стану наукового опрацювання проблематики інституту Президента у працях зарубіжних та вітчизняних дослідників; досліджено моделі президентського правління на прикладі країн, для яких такі форми державного устрою є типовими; визначено інституційну роль Президента в системі органів державної влади України та окреслено ключові етапи становлення цього інституту в контексті трансформаційних процесів у державі; розкрито зміст конституційного статусу Президента України на різних етапах розвитку інституту президентства та за різних форм президентського правління, що існували у вітчизняній політико-правовій практиці; проаналізовано обсяг повноважень Президента України після внесення змін до Конституції 8 грудня 2004 року, визначено їх позитивні та негативні наслідки, а також змодельовано потенційний вплив цих змін на взаємодію гілок влади; визначено основні перспективні напрями подальшого розвитку інституту Президента України. In the course of the research, a comprehensive analysis of the scholarly development of the topic concerning the institution of the President was conducted based on the works of foreign and domestic researchers; models of presidential governance were examined using examples of countries in which such forms of state organization are typical; the institutional role of the President within the system of state authorities of Ukraine was identified, and the key stages of the formation of this institution in the context of the state's transformational processes were outlined; the content of the constitutional status of the President of Ukraine at various stages of the development of the presidency and under different forms of presidential governance that have existed in Ukraine’s political and legal practice was revealed; the scope of the President’s powers following the constitutional amendments adopted on 8 December 2004 was analyzed, their positive and negative consequences were determined, and the potential impact of these changes on the interaction among the branches of power was modeled; and the main prospective directions for the further development of the institution of the President of Ukraine were identified.
