    Робота присвячена вивченню теоретичних засад і практичних положень щодо здійснення митного контролю. Уточнено зміст поняття «митний контроль», виділено його складові відповідно до завдань та правового статусу митних органів. Акцентовано увагу на особливостях організації та проведення контролю митними органами. Узагальнено нормативно-правове забезпечення здійснення митного контролю. Оцінено митний контроль з точки зору дієвості, результативності та ефективності. Запропоновано заходи для підвищення ефективності боротьби з порушенням митних. Розроблено напрями вдосконалення в контексті підвищення конкурентоспроможності держави. The work is devoted to the study of theoretical principles and practical provisions regarding the implementation of customs control. The meaning of the concept of "customs control" has been clarified, its components have been highlighted in accordance with the tasks and legal status of customs authorities. Attention is focused on the peculiarities of the organization and control by customs authorities. Generalized regulatory and legal provision of customs control. Customs control was assessed in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and effectiveness. Measures are proposed to improve the effectiveness of combating customs violations. Areas of improvement have been developed in the context of increasing the state's competitiveness.
