    В останні десятиліття значно поглибився вплив макроекономічного середовища на активи та пасиви банківських установ. Встановлено існування суттєвого зв’язку між контролінгом, управлінням активами і пасивами та розвитком банківської системи. Банківський сектор зіштовхнувся з нестабільною геополітичною ситуацією, пов’язану з війною і необхідністю чіткого та миттєвого реагування для збереження банку. Детальний аналіз поточного стану управління активами та пасивами банківського сектору України здійснено з позицій можливостей розвитку банківського бізнесу. Результати оцінки стану активів та пасивів банківської системи України в умовах війни дозволили виявити можливі сценарії та необхідні реакції менеджменту банку в майбутньому. Основні висновки та практичне значення дослідження полягає у обґрунтовуванні основоположних підходів з формування механізму управління пасивами та активами аналізованої банківської установи. In recent decades, the influence of the macroeconomic environment on the bank's assets and liabilities system has deepened significantly. The existence of a significant connection between controlling, asset and liability management and the development of the banking system has been established. The banking sector faced an unstable geopolitical situation associated with war and the need for a clear and immediate response to save the bank existence. A detailed analysis of the current status of asset and liability management of the banking sector of Ukraine was carried out from the standpoint of opportunities for the development of the banking business. The results of the assessment of the status of assets and liabilities of the banking system of Ukraine in the conditions of the war made it possible to identify probable scenarios and the necessary reactions of the bank's management in the future years. The main conclusions and practical significance of the study are the substantiation of the fundamental approaches to the formation of the mechanism for managing liabilities and assets of the analyzed banking institution.
