    У роботі аналізуються теоретичні основи та принципи бізнес-середовища США. Автором визначено історичні передумови виникнення малого та середнього бізнесу в США, а також визначено його організаційно-правові форми, сутність та функції. Автором проведено аналіз бізнес-середовища, аналіз ефективності державної підтримки та порівняння бізнесу США та Європи. Говорилося про проблеми, які можуть виникнути у діяльності малого та середнього бізнесу. На основі роботи автора сформульовано рекомендації щодо оптимізації роботи малого та середнього бізнесу в США. The work analyzes the theoretical foundations and principles of the US business environment. The author defines the historical prerequisites for the emergence of small and medium-sized businesses in the USA, as well as defines its organizational and legal forms, essence and functions. The author made an analysis of the business environment, an analysis of the effectiveness of state support, and a comparison of US and European business. It was said about the problems that may arise in the operation of small and medium-sized businesses. Based on the author's work, recommendations were formulated for optimizing the operation of small and medium-sized businesses in the United States
