    Актуальність дослідження полягає в тому, що наразі структура вітчизняної банківської системи є асиметричною і надає перевагу державним банкам. Державні банки складають основу вітчизняної банківської системи і займають домінуючу позицію на фінансовому ринку. Особливо важливо дослідити роль державного капіталу в українській банківській системі та його вплив на фінансовий зважаючи на значну частку державних банків, та складні умови воєнного часу, в яких наразі перебуває Україна. Запропоновано напрями скорочення частки державних банків на фінансовому ринку. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that the structure of the domestic banking system is currently asymmetrical and favors state-owned banks. State-owned banks form the backbone of the domestic banking system and occupy a dominant position in the financial market. It is especially important to study the role of state capital in the Ukrainian banking system and its impact on the financial market, given the significant share of state-owned banks and the difficult wartime conditions in which Ukraine is currently experiencing. The author suggests ways to reduce the share of state-owned banks in the financial market.
