Our experience shows that the study of foreign students at the Economic University is based on a typical scheme that is typical of all non-humanitarian institutions in Ukraine. The research work and cross-cultural component in the study of Ukrainian as a foreign language play an important role in the adaptation and training of economics students. The article analyzes the linguistic component of the professional education of foreign students in the course “Ukrainian as a foreign language.” Identified problems, perspectives and given practical advice to improve the work with foreign students in an economic institution in the initial stage of language acquisition. Всі агентиви у сфері електронної комерції можна умовно поділити на дві групи. Найбільшу групу назв становлять назви на позначення учасників акту купівлі продажу у сфері електронної комерції. Доведено, що окремо виникає група назв, які стосуються позначень комп’ютерних діячів, користувачів, які є допоміжними елементами у проведенні торгівельних процесів у цифрових економічних відносинах. The article discusses Ukrainian names of agents, names of persons by occupation, profession. All agents in e-commerce can be roughly divided into two groups. The largest group of names is made up of names to designate participants in the act of purchase and sale in the field of electronic commerce. It has been proved that a group of names arises separately that relate to the designations of computer figures, users, which are auxiliary elements in conducting trade processes in digital economic relations. В статье рассмотрены украинские агентивы, названия лиц по роду деятельности, профессии, занятия. Все агентивы в сфере электронной коммерции можно условно разделить на две группы. Наибольшую группу названий составляют названия для обозначения участников акта купли-продажи в сфере электронной коммерции. Стандартизація економічної термінології, визначення її ролі у формуванні лінгвістичної та професійної компетентності фахівців у будь-якій галузі знань є головною проблемою на сьогодні. Проаналізовано типи лексичного запозичення, досліджено загальні риси, що визначають суть будь-якого терміна; зосереджено увагу на термінах-стандартах. Наголошено, що важливим аспектом класифікації термінологічних одиниць економічної сфери є їхні словотвірні особливості. The article examines one of the most pressing and complex problems of Ukrainian linguistics of the XXI century – the formation of economic terminology on a national basis. The terminological vocabulary is an indicator of the level of development of scientific language in society and, therefore, of science in general. Terminological vocabulary is the kind of barometer that determines the level of vocational education, as rich and extensive terminology is one of the important indicators of the level of vocational education in the country. Standardization of economic terminology, defining its role in the formation of linguistic and professional competence of specialists in any field of knowledge is the main problem today. The purpose of this article is to try to find out the types of lexical interference, to explore the common features that define the essence of any term; to analyze terms with complete structural coincidence and terms with partial replacement of components, designed by word-forming means of the recipient language; make terms-standards, terms-samples, normalize the terminology; identify linguistic and linguistic reasons for borrowing. The dialectical method is used, empirical, empirical-theoretical and theoretical methods. The article analyzes the history of Ukrainian economic terminology since the times of Kievan Rus, explains general and specific features of terminological nomination of economic concepts, investigates the problem of mastering and transmitting foreign language elements, identifies types of lexical interference, gives common features that define the essence of any terminology units of special, limited functioning; terms with complete structural coincidence and terms with partial replacement of components, designed by word-forming means of the recipient language are analyzed; Linguistic and linguistic reasons for borrowing have been identified. The general and specific features of terminological nomination of economic concepts have been found out, which will facilitate the unification, standardization and codification of this terminology; the problem of assimilation and transfer of foreign language elements is investigated. Conclusion. Standardization of terminological systems at national and international levels is necessary and relevant, since it aims at the choice of the terminological standard and its approval as a mandatory option. Досліджено явище транслітерації, що використовується під час перекладу маловідомої графічної системи на більш зрозумілу. The article examines the features of terminological and professional vocabulary in business communication. The article analyzes professional language as a form of modern Ukrainian literary language. The emphasis is on expanding international contacts. The article analyzes professional language, characterizes professional jargon and business slang. The phenomenon of transliteration, which is used when translating a little-known graphic system into a more understandable one, is studied. It is noted that the expansion of international contacts contributes to the intensification of borrowing terms in the economic sphere. The concepts of international terminology and international term are analyzed. It has been proven that the indicators of the assimilation of a borrowed term are the phonetic and graphic transmission of a foreign word by means of the Ukrainian language; the entry of a foreign word into a certain grammatical class of words of the Ukrainian language and the acquisition of corresponding morphological and syntactic features in this regard; word-forming activity, which consists in the ability of a borrowed term to be the basis for the creation of new words, etc. Attention is drawn to the fact that the use of absolute tracings and the use of pseudo-terms in English transliteration are non-normative.Item Інтернаціональне та національне в термінотворчому процесі(Інститут української мови НАН України, 2023) Товстенко, Вікторія Ростиславівна; Tovstenko, Viktoriia; Бондарчук, Лариса Михайлівна; Bondarchuk, Larysa; Подгурська, Тамара Анатоліївна; Podhurska, TamaraСтаття присвячена дослідженню термінологічного номінування економічних понять. Виокремлено групи метафоричного використання економічних термінів. Досліджено одну з проблем українського мовознавства – формування економічної термінології на національній основі, протиставлено інтернаціональне та національне в термінотворчому процесі. З’ясовано загальні та специфічні особливості термінологічної номінації економічних понять, що сприятиме уніфікації, стандартизації та кодифікації цієї термінології. Виділено основні групи економічної терміносистеми. The article is devoted to the study of the terminological nomination of economic concepts. Groups of metaphorical use of economic terms are singled out. One of the problems of Ukrainian linguistics – the formation of economic terminology on a national basis – has been studied, and the international and national aspects of the term-making process have been distinguished. The general and specific features of the terminological nomination of economic concepts have been clarified, which will contribute to the unification, standardization and codification of this terminology. The main groups of the economic term system are highlighted. Common characteristics that determine the essence of any term as a lexical unit of special, limited functioning have been studied; terms with partial replacement of components, formed by word-forming means of the recipient language and terms with a complete structural match were analyzed. Standard terms, sample terms are proposed; standardized terminological system at the national and international levels. It is proven that the terminology of each language is national, because its international component is assimilated according to the structure of the national language. It is emphasized that objective validity is the only legitimate criterion for creating a term and borrowing it from another language. It is noted that replenishing the vocabulary with borrowings is a historically inevitable process, necessary for the language to meet society’s communication needs at each stage of its development. It is emphasized that the significant influence on the formation of term systems has winged sayings of the national language – phraseological units. Terminological systems involve in their arsenal some phraseological units in the role of scientific terms, and such a phenomenon is called phraseologisation. It has been proven that economic terms are used in works of art not only to specify an image, a storyline, but also to focus the reader’s attention on certain objects, phenomena, and actions. Homonymy, paronymy, synonymy and antonymy were analyzed. It is noted that homophones, homographs, and lexical homonyms are often used for language games. Paronymic attraction is most often used in fiction to create a play on words. It was concluded that the growth of terminological systems is evidence of the progress of the nation in terms of science and technology and in terms of the intellectualization of its language.
