The study examines the relationship between difficulties in emotion regulation and stress reactions among students, as well as the specific features of their manifestation during student age under conditions of increased psycho-emotional load. The aim of the study is to identify and provide a theoretical and empirical substantiation of the relationship between difficulties in emotion regulation and students’ stress reactions. It has been found that difficulties in emotion regulation are associated with higher levels of stress reactions, reduced stress resilience, and more intense subjective stress experience, confirming the importance of emotion regulation as a psychological resource for student adaptation. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in their potential use by university psychologists in developing student support programs aimed at reducing stress levels and enhancing emotion regulation skills.
