    Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade with the EU: Dynamics and Prospects for Deeper Integration

    In modern globalized world economy no nation is independent and intensive economic relations are the key for national growth. As the globalization is occurring through regional integration, countries are actively engaged in regional institutional relations. Today the EU remains a “classic model” of successful regional integration. As the same time the EU’s regional policy aims at reducing the gap with the neighboring countries and creating favorable conditions. This policy has revealed into the European Neighborhood Policy in 2004 and Developed into Eastern Partnership (EaP) in 2009 for 6 eastern neighbor countries of the EU: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine. The Integration has steadily goes up with region, however, some countries show more progress. Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine has already sign the Association Agreement (AA) including Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Areas (DCFTAs) with the EU and now these countries work on further progress in terms of the Implementation of AA/DCFTA. The article discuss the issues deepening the progress with the establishing the free trade area in the region. The dynamics of foreign trade and correlation between the development of cooperation within the EaP format and increased trade flows are studied. Some data indicating the changing pattern of foreign trade are measured.

    Digital technologies and e-banking: the future of global economy

    The new industrial revolution is fundamentally different from the previous ones. The current fourth industrial revolution creates the new environment of digital world. Fourth Industrial Revolution is the key issue on contemporary development agenda in political, economic and academic circles. Against the continuous development of the information technologies, more and more business processes, products, goods, and services are impacted by innovations, these process entails constant evolution of business models, which eventually are becoming more and more digitalized. The paper analyzes one of the main factors that supports such kind of development. E-banking and the trend of its evolution is reviewed in the paper. The paper concludes that the rapid growth of ebanking system came from the remarkable quantity of benefits offered by on-line banking services. First of all, this benefits refer to banks and their customers, but more broadly it is beneficial from society and economic development perspectives.

    Modern technological achievements in digital spare determine the nature of global economy. digital technologies significantly improve the efficiency of economy due to the reduction of the cost of business transactions and other communications. Industrial revolutions that start since XVIII century, significantly changed the behavior of government, business and individuals. The development of the Internet, information technologies (IT technologies), sustainable communication channels, cloud technologies and digital platforms, increase in the amount of information generated from various sources, ensured the emergence of open information systems and global industrial networks. This, in turn, had a transformative impact on all sectors of the modern economy and business outside the IT sector itself and contributed to the transfer of industrial automation to a new 4th stage of industrialization. Nowadays, technological achievements are a significant factor for development. Success of the country in science and research boost country’s development. Emergence and unprecedented wide spread of digital technologies dictates national governments to take special measures to generate knowledge and to encourage national firms for innovation.

    National Economic Policy for Innovation and Growth in Globalized Era

    Globalization is multidimensional process, where political, economic, military, cultural, environmental and social sides are widely involved. Since late 1990s knowledge plays a key role in determining the structure and frame of the modern world. Despite the fact that during globalization national borders have less meaning for global firms while they seek for the most advantageous place for economic profit, national countries create unique environment for them and ensure their sound positions on sciencebased world markets. Technology achievement is a significant factor for development. Participation in contemporary economy means to create appropriate sources for education, adequate infrastructure, political stabilization, market economy and so on. In this regard innovative clusters are gaining greater importance for any policy, where the higher education and research support plays a key role.
