Abstract
In times of economic difficulties, special attention is paid to
the efficient use of budget funds. The analysis of budget expenditures
on education (on the example of the education subvention) indicates
the functioning of an excessive, inefficient school network in Ukraine,
which does not provide quality education for all students. The formula
for the distribution of the education subvention has proven to be an
effective tool for optimizing the school network to improve the quality
of education.
