| dc.description.abstract | Тo research article was the analysis and study of the strategy «Europe2020» as part of the optimization mechanism of employment of the economically active population in the EU. Against the backdrop of current socio-economic and demographic development of the EU singled out and revealed specifics of implementation of this strategy and its impact on employment of the population aged over 45 years on the territory of the EU. Analysis of sources and statistical study found that now one of the priority tasks facing the EU countries in the present conditions of the knowledge economy and demographic loss is sustainable development of competitive «new European knowledge economy» and the increase in the employment of the economically active population. In the context of minimizing the negative impacts of the demographic crisis the implementation of the Strategy provides for the introduction of an effective mechanism for optimizing employment and of the principle of comprehensive inclusion into employment of the economically active population of middleaged and older. Practical realization of the Strategy of smart, sustainable and comprehensive development of the «Europe 2020» as part of the mechanism of optimizing employment aged over 45 years is based on principles of social justice, decent work, performance, inclusive development, cohesion, flexibility in the labor market protection and others. Revealed that the implementation of this Strategy requires the introduction of such basic elements: innovative development, development of digital technologies and the efficient use of resources and training and professional skills development throughout life. Promising directions of further research are: development of proposals on the introduction of positive experience of implementation of the strategy «Europe 2020» as a mechanism for optimizing the employment of middle age in the domestic labor market. | uk |
