Abstract
Innovation systems play a crucial role in regional development and further prosperity, as it
encourages and complements the rapid diffusion of knowledge, skills, and best practices within a
chosen geographic area. However, there is limited knowledge on innovation systems resilience in
response to acute and long-lasting shocks. Present research note brings reader’s attention to the topic
of innovation systems resilience and proposes tentative steps in this process.
