Abstract
The article discusses cadaster challenges of effective functioning of land market on the
example of Georgia. It represents modern aspects of cadaster operation for the provision land
market operation. The most important reforms which had an impact on land market are studied.
It is noted that the functioning of a complete cadastral system (land calculation, evaluation,
registration) and the development of the land legal base is a necessary precondition for conducting
land market operations.
