dc.description.abstractУ статті представлено результати аналізу тенденцій розвитку фармацевтичного ринку світу та України. Визначено місце фармацевтичної індустрії у економіці світу та країн. Зроблено оцінювання фарма-індустрії з в контексті розвитку вітчизняної переробної промисловості. Проаналізовано динаміку фармацевтичного ринку України протягом 2011–2021 рр., зроблено порівняння інвестиційної активності фармацевтичних підприємств порівняно з іншими промисловими компаніями. Представлено результати порівняльного аналізу інноваційної діяльності українських фармацевтичних підприємств порівняно з компаніями інших видів промислової діяльності та компаній — лідерів світової фарми. Визначено проблемні питання регуляторної політики у фармацевтичній індустрії України. Проаналізовано конкурентне середовище вітчизняного фармацевтичного ринку. Визначено тренди розвитку фармацевтичного ринку, які є актуальними як для світового, так і вітчизняного бізнес-простору. The article presents the results of the analysis of trends in the development of the pharmaceutical market in the world and Ukraine. The place of the pharmaceutical industry in the world and national economies is determined. It is established that pharma is one of the fastest growing sectors of the world economy with annual growth rates of up to 12 %. The pharmaceutical industry is assessed in the context of the development of the domestic manufacturing industry, where the pharmaceutical industry accounts for 4 % of GDP. The dynamics of the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine in 2011–2021 is analysed, and the investment activity of pharmaceutical enterprises is compared with other industrial companies. It is established that the share of capital investments in the total industrial volume of investments in the domestic pharmaceutical business is one of the highest among the industrial sectors of the Ukrainian economy. The results of a comparative analysis of the innovation activity of Ukrainian pharmaceutical enterprises in comparison with companies of other types of industrial activity and companies-leaders of the world pharmaceutical industry are presented. It is determined that the pharmaceutical industry is a leader among other sectors of the Ukrainian manufacturing industry in terms of the number of innovation- active enterprises. Innovative expenditures per 1 UAH of output in the pharmaceutical industry are higher than in knowledge-intensive industrial sectors. However, the respective indicator is insignificant compared to similar indicators for the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. The article identifies problematic issues of regulatory policy in the pharmaceutical industry of Ukraine. It is proved that domestic pharmaceutical companies are actively implementing digital business transformation projects. The competitive environment of the domestic pharmaceutical market is analysed. The high potential for the development of domestic pharmaceutical companies is evidenced by the fact that during the war, all production facilities are fully operational and at the same time ensure an increase in product sales. The trends in the development of the pharmaceutical market, which are relevant for both the global and domestic business space, are identified.uk_UA
