| dc.description.abstract | Робота досліджує роль фінансових інновацій, зокрема блокчейну та ініціатив із цифровими валютами, у сприянні інтеграції економік у глобальну фінансову систему. Дослідження має на меті провести ґрунтовний аналіз макроекономічних наслідків запровадження цифрових валют центральних банків (ЦВЦБ) та оцінити їхній потенційний вплив на стабільність і ефективність фінансового сектору. Вивчаються різні рушійні сили та мотивації центральних банків у розробці ЦВЦБ, а також ризики й виклики, пов'язані з їх упровадженням. Аналізується, як емісія ЦВЦБ може порушити існуючі банківські та фінансові моделі посередництва, вплинувши на трансмісію грошово-кредитної політики та кредитування. Окрім того, досліджується вплив ЦВЦБ на конкурентну динаміку у фінансовому секторі та потенційні наслідки для транскордонних потоків капіталу й ефектів заміщення валют. Шляхом емпіричного аналізу макроекономічних і фінансових даних оцінюються можливі ефекти ЦВЦБ на внутрішні кредитні цикли, фінансову стабільність і макроекономічні коливання. This thesis explores the role of financial innovations, particularly blockchain and digital currency initiatives, in facilitating the integration of economies into the global financial system. The research aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the macroeconomic implications of introducing central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) and assessing their potential impact on the financial sector's stability and efficiency. The study examines the various drivers and motivations behind the development of CBDCs by central banks, as well as the risks and challenges associated with their implementation. It analyzes how the issuance of CBDCs could disrupt existing banking and financial intermediation models, affecting monetary policy transmission and credit provision. Additionally, the thesis investigates how the adoption of CBDCs could influence the competitive dynamics in the financial sector, including potential effects on commercial banks' profitability and market shares. The study also explores the implications of CBDCs for cross-border capital flows and currency substitution effects. By conducting an empirical analysis using macroeconomic and financial data, the research aims to assess the potential effects of CBDCs on domestic credit cycles, financial stability, and macroeconomic fluctuations. | |
