Abstract
This bachelor thesis explores the evolution, current state, and future prospects of cashless payments, with a focus on Ukraine’s transition toward a cashless economy in the context of post-war recovery and financial stability. The study systematizes key concepts, outlines global trends, and presents a comparative analysis of countries leading in cashless transformation, with a detailed case study of Sweden. Based on statistical and institutional data, the research evaluates Ukraine’s payment infrastructure and proposes directions for further digitalization, including the potential role of CBDCs and innovative payment instruments.
У цій бакалаврській роботі досліджується еволюція, сучасний стан та перспективи безготівкових платежів, з особливим акцентом на перехід України до безготівкової економіки в контексті післявоєнного відновлення та фінансової стабільності. У дослідженні систематизовано ключові поняття, окреслено глобальні тенденції та представлено порівняльний аналіз країн, що лідирують у безготівковій трансформації, з детальним вивченням досвіду Швеції. На основі статистичних та інституційних даних у дослідженні оцінено платіжну інфраструктуру України та запропоновано напрямки подальшої цифровізації, включаючи потенційну роль CBDC та інноваційних платіжних інструментів.
