dc.description.abstractIntroduction: On 24th of February 2022, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine escalated the global food prices and pushed the low-income group countries into starvation. The UN said around 20 million tons of grain are currently stuck in Ukraine from the previous harvest which if released could ease pressure on global markets. Russia and Ukraine together account for more than a quarter of the world’s wheat supplies along with maize, and sunflower oil. It is said that blockade of Ukraine’s Black Sea Ports is the primary reason for rising prices. Aim: The aim of the study is to show that how Russia’s invasion of Ukraine created a global food crisis as Russia and Ukraine, has a vast grain-growing regions and are among the world’s main breadbaskets, and major exporters of some staple foods to Middle East and African countries. The result of this war is global hunger crisis, especially across the Middle East and Africa, where effects are already visible so “Gun should be stopped lives must be saved”. Method: Doctrinal method of study is applied for drawing conclusions. Findings: The analysis of different content of articles, newspaper, data shows that the invasion of Russia on Ukraine has resulted in Global hunger crisis.uk_UA
