Abstract
The paper evaluates the potential opportunities of agribusiness diversification in Georgia. The factors that impact the diversification are identified; priority needs of agribusiness are determined — development of agricultural farms, improving supply chain, increasing political and budgetary support. Recommendations on alternative models of agribusiness and rural development are proposed based on theoretical
studies and analysis of empirical data.
