dc.description.abstractThis conference paper delves into the multifaceted landscape of non-formal and informal education, shedding light on the factors that influence its effectiveness and accessibility. The purpose of this study is to identify the key factors that shape non-formal and informal educational experiences as well as vocational education and training (VET). Design/Approach: Employing a conclusive research approach, this study includes secondary data collection from National Statistics Office of Georgia. Research papers are collected to gather insights from learners and educators involved in non-formal and informal education researches. Findings: The findings reveal factors that influence non-formal and informal education. These factors encompass socio-economic conditions, individual motivations, access to resources and technology, community support, and the recognition of informal learning outcomes. It is evident that the effectiveness of non-formal and informal education is highly contingent on the synergy of these elements. Research Limitations: While this study provides valuable insights, it is not without limitations. Future research endeavors should aim to address these limitations by employing larger and more diverse samples and primary data collection. Practical Implications: This research offers practical implications for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders in the field of education. Understanding the factors that affect non-formal and informal education can inform the design of more effective programs and policies, enhance learner engagement, and promote lifelong learning opportunities. Originality/Value: This study highlights the interdependence of various factors and emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach to education. The paper provides a nuances understanding the underexplored area.
