On selected problems of interdisciplinary methodologies application in economic research

The main goal of the paper is the problem how to select and apply an appropriate (and most efficient) method of economic research tasks solution based on an interdisciplinary approach, and the possibility of applying this method by small research teams. In the Introduction selected aspects of an interdisciplinary approach on the field of economy and finance are explained. Advantages and disadvantages of interdisciplinary economic resзearch are highlighted (Part 2.). Practical problems of interdisciplinary research based on the experience of two small research teams at the Institute of Finance and Administration in Prague are discussed. (Part 3. )
