    Artificial intelligence and higher education challenges: scientific research emphasis

    The paper presents the results of the analysis of scientific articles published on the Scopus database. The challenges arising in the higher education system due to the development of artificial intelligence are identified in the results of scientific research; the summary is given in the form of a SWOT analysis; the focuses of further research are determined; and recommendations are offered. Artificial intelligence is revealed to be an important enabling mechanism for expanding teaching and learning opportunities, administering the educational process, and enhancing research potential. Higher education institutions can harness the transformative potential of artificial intelligence by using it responsibly and effectively. It is critical to address ethical issues, reduce the potential for the digital divide, and prioritize human-centered learning experiences.

    Platform economy and the challenges for skills development

    The work reviews increasing role of platform economy and challenges for labour skills. The preconditions of large-scale growth of an on-line economy had already matured due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution although they are unequal within different countries and within the world. Development of the platform economy creates a condition as for catch-up development as well as for backwardness. The most demanded labour skills of nowadays should simultaneously be in the focus of economic and educational state policy.

The issue is important as turbulent transformations require to rethink economic policies and business strategies. Labor market is mostly sensitive towards the fast changes. Which specialties and skills are mostly in demand, should be studied as new business environment needs relevant responses. Emergence of new technologies and their impact on business foremost is evident by mismatch of skills and jobs.

    The issue of developing digital competencies in future managers from the educational sector perspective

    The current process of digital transformation is described as a very hectic one. This process is integrated into every field of human life. Educational institutions face crucial challenges, demands for the labor force have been obtaining new, various features, being aware of digital skills is among them. Digital transformation involves instant and smart integration of digital technologies, processes, and competencies. This work aims, based on the discussion of scientific literature, and analyze crucial sources of digital competencies, to clarify their integration issue into the education programs. The emphasis is, on preparing managers via higher educational programs.
