The paper deals with the methodological problems of the legal interpretation of the term «Europeazation». The relevance of the problem and the main sources of further research is investigated. This analysis allows us to make a conclusion that after Brexit the problem of legal Europeanization has come back to its starting point. The Europeanization of private law, just like the Americanization of these sub-systems of law, should be in the form of harmonization only. Europeanization of private law for all states, including Ukraine, should be interpreted as the legal cultural process.
