    Managing corporate social responsibility in international banks

    This work reveals the theoretical aspects of the essence of corporate social responsibility of International Banks, and also demonstrates its application in practice on the example of JSC "UKRSIBBANK". The most common variations of the definition of Corporate Social Responsibility are considered. The involvement of foreign and Ukrainian companies in the UN Global Compact is investigated. The main reasons for the need to implement this business strategy are substantiated. The algorithm of analysis of Corporate Social Responsibility of potential and existing clients in the banking sector is proposed. In today's realities, adherence to the corporate social responsibility strategy for business is one of the integral parts of its successful functioning, as it brings the relationship between business and society to a higher level, and is one of the most important factors of economic development. Corporate social responsibility is one of the key features of modern business structures and provides for the protection of public interests. According to this strategy, when making decisions, managers aim not only to maximize profits or increase the market value of the company, but also to protect the interests of others: employees, consumers, communities, and the country as a whole. It is extremely important for business to reduce negative and increase positive impacts. This is possible only by adhering to the principles of sustainable development - a balance between meeting modern needs and protecting the interests of future generations. Дана робота розкриває теоретичні аспекти сутності корпоративної соціальної відповідальності міжнародних банків, а також демонструє її застосування на практиці на прикладі АТ "УКРСИББАНК". Розглянуто найпоширеніші варіації визначення корпоративної соціальної відповідальності. Досліджено участь іноземних та українських компаній у Глобальному договорі ООН. Обґрунтовано основні причини необхідності впровадження цієї бізнес-стратегії. Запропоновано алгоритм аналізу корпоративної соціальної відповідальності потенційних та існуючих клієнтів у банківському секторі. У сучасних реаліях дотримання стратегії корпоративної соціальної відповідальності для бізнесу є однією з невід'ємних складових його успішного функціонування, оскільки виводить взаємовідносини між бізнесом і суспільством на високий рівень і є одним з найважливіших чинників економічного розвитку. Корпоративна соціальна відповідальність є однією з ключових ознак сучасних бізнес-структур і передбачає захист суспільних інтересів.
