    В даний час у системі професійної освіти пильна увага приділяється впровадженню технологій дистанційного навчання, які являють собою інформаційні технології, що забезпечують доставку слухачам основного обсягу матеріалу, що вивчається, інтерактивна взаємодія слухачів і викладачів у процесі навчання, надання слухачам можливості самостійної роботи з освоєння матеріалу, що вивчається, а також у процесі навчання. Розширення меж використання дистанційного навчання в освіті зумовлене активним розвитком інформаційних технологій, проникненням їх у всі сфери життя людини.
