Of course organizations operate in a changing environment and constantly have to deal with new challenges. But the situation that have unfolded since 2020 were incredible and unexpected for everyone. Most people as well as most organizations were not ready for the new reality. Constraints, uncertainty, and fear have left their mark on the human psyche. This of course also affected the organizational environment and culture. Because people are different from each other, especially in the context of globalization when representatives of different cultures and societies work in one space. Implementation effective performance management in such conditions was already difficult and now when people are more stressed it has become more noticeable.First of all for effective performance management is important establishing an organizational culture. Even before the pandemic, it was quite difficult to involve employees working remotely in organizational culture. The pandemic has further complicated the situation as even organizations with thousands of employees have moved to remote work. Which of course affects on organizational culture, exchanging information and working relationships. These are the most important factors for performance management. Also, being constantly at home and working from home is more stressful. In such situation, people find it difficult to separate work and family time. Especially when other family members are under similar stress. At the same time, the economic crisis caused by the pandemic has increased unemployment Dismissal of employees and bankruptcy of organizations cause uncertainty, fear and reduce motivation. All of this reduces performance and creates new challenges for performance management. Besides challenges, the Covid Pandemic has created numerous opportunities. First of all, clearly demonstrated that organizations can save huge money on office rent and can transfer part of the employees to remote work if right ways of managing performans will be found. Secondly employees were given more opportunities to learn new things. Various universities and training centers have created online platforms, with the help of which anyone can get new knowledge. This is a kind of opportunity for performance management to plan trainingprograms and to help employees in developing skills.Item Corporate museum and organizational memory in agri-food organization sector(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-11-10) Vesperi, Walter; Ingrassia, RaimondoThe competitive environment is becoming more complex. For this reason, it is called VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous). Firms must identify new ways to maintain and increase their competitive advantage. Firms based their competitive advantage on the enhancement of knowledge and innovation. From this perspective, despite the vast literature on KM, corporate museums represent a little observed phenomenon. Corporate museums represent a new mechanism for the enhancement of knowledge and organizational memory. Despite this, studies on corporate museums focus only on the aspects of marketing and corporate branding. Few studies have addressed this phenomenon from the point of view of organizational memory and knowledge transfer. This study fits into this gap in the academic debate. From the point of view of organizational theory, the study analyzes the phenomenon of the corporate museum as a mechanism for transferring knowledge and organizational memory. This work uses a descriptive qualitative methodology. The study analyzes information from a public dataset. The analyzes focus on corporate museums in Italy, with particular attention to the agri-food sector. The results of this study highlight that the corporate museum assumes a strategic value to reduce the risk of “organizational oblivion” and increase the sharing of organizational culture. This study offers some initial observations on the phenomenon of the business museum and on the relationship with organizational memory.Item Corporate social responsibility as a defensive tool in VUCA world: view from the marketing perspective(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-11-10) Brin, Pavlo; Nehme, MohamadIn the context of VUCA conditions, the paper offers a contribution to the sustainability of innovative business development. It includes adverse events such as global pandemics and climate change. The impacts of these adverse events lead organizations and decision makers to adopt new behaviours. Although these adverse events are inevitable, organizations do not respond in the same way. Some organizations are better able to withstand and recover from such shocks than others (Van der Vegt et.al, 2015). High-risk events that at first appear to cause only local and isolated effects can now increase in intensity and damage vital infrastructure affecting events on a national and global scale. McFarlane and Norris' (2006, p. 4) defined an adverse event as "a potentially traumatic event that is experienced collectively, has an acute onset, and is limited in time; it can be attributed to natural, technological or human causes" adverse event is caused by factors external to the system, unforeseen and requiring immediate action (examples include hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, pandemics). The traditional way of dealing with adverse events is to develop approaches and systems to identify risks as such, in this way scholars have shifted their attention from identifying and mitigating risk to attempting to increase resilience (Sutcliffe & Vogus, 2003). The term resilience almost always has the positive connotation of flexibility and strengthening. The desired result is better than the preparation to face disruptive unexpected events. The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of strategic choices in response to adverse events on the life of organizations. Specifically, when their responses to adverse events are in not adaptive resilience way (inertia). In order to understand this, we based this study on a review of the literature specifically linked to adverse events and the way in which it’s possible to front them.Item Development of accounting policy of the Ukrainian enterprise in the conditions of ifrs and ias(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-12) Lakhtionova, Liudmyla; Trush, IrynaItem Developmental tendencies in the behavioral motives of end consumers(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-10) Mammadov, Sagib YasharItem Digital-інновації в обліку: проблеми та перспективи(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-12) Кононенко, Леся ВіталіївнаItem Directions for developing the production of local agro-food products in Georgia(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-11-10) Lazariashvili, TamarIn terms of globalization, effective use of potential opportunities for increasing agrofood production is essential for addressing food security problem.
