For this reason, it is called VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous). Firms must identify new ways to maintain and increase their competitive advantage. Firms based their competitive advantage on the enhancement of knowledge and innovation. From this perspective, despite the vast literature on KM, corporate museums represent a little observed phenomenon. Corporate museums represent a new mechanism for the enhancement of knowledge and organizational memory. Despite this, studies on corporate museums focus only on the aspects of marketing and corporate branding. Few studies have addressed this phenomenon from the point of view of organizational memory and knowledge transfer. This study fits into this gap in the academic debate. From the point of view of organizational theory, the study analyzes the phenomenon of the corporate museum as a mechanism for transferring knowledge and organizational memory. This work uses a descriptive qualitative methodology. The study analyzes information from a public dataset. The analyzes focus on corporate museums in Italy, with particular attention to the agri-food sector. The results of this study highlight that the corporate museum assumes a strategic value to reduce the risk of “organizational oblivion” and increase the sharing of organizational culture. This study offers some initial observations on the phenomenon of the business museum and on the relationship with organizational memory.Item COVID-19 and living standard of the population of Georgia(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-11-10) Khmaladze, Merab; Giorgobiani, Maia; Chitaladze, KetevanFor the second year the humanity has been living in a pandemic, which, by its scale, has no analogues in the history. The most obvious negative consequence of the pandemic is the sharp decline in the living standards of the population. The paper deals with the dynamics of the volume of Georgia's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2019-2020 and, identifies both “visible” and “real” GDP losses as a result of the pandemic. The rise in unemployment too plays a certain role in the deterioration of living standards. The paper studies and statistically determines also the increase in the overall mortality rate of the Georgian population and the decrease in life expectancy, as a result of the pandemic.Item Decision making in adverse events: a selected literature review(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-11-10) Cristofaro, Concetta Lucia; Vesperi, Walter; Ventura, Marzia; Melina, Anna MariaIn the 21st century organizations have to face pressing "big challenges" (George et al., 2016). It includes adverse events such as global pandemics and climate change. The impacts of these adverse events lead organizations and decision makers to adopt new behaviours. Although these adverse events are inevitable, organizations do not respond in the same way. Some organizations are better able to withstand and recover from such shocks than others (Van der Vegt et.al, 2015). High-risk events that at first appear to cause only local and isolated effects can now increase in intensity and damage vital infrastructure affecting events on a national and global scale. McFarlane and Norris' (2006, p. 4) defined an adverse event as "a potentially traumatic event that is experienced collectively, has an acute onset, and is limited in time; it can be attributed to natural, technological or human causes" adverse event is caused by factors external to the system, unforeseen and requiring immediate action (examples include hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, pandemics). The traditional way of dealing with adverse events is to develop approaches and systems to identify risks as such, in this way scholars have shifted their attention from identifying and mitigating risk to attempting to increase resilience (Sutcliffe & Vogus, 2003). The term resilience almost always has the positive connotation of flexibility and strengthening. The desired result is better than the preparation to face disruptive unexpected events. The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of strategic choices in response to adverse events on the life of organizations. Specifically, when their responses to adverse events are in not adaptive resilience way (inertia). In order to understand this, we based this study on a review of the literature specifically linked to adverse events and the way in which it’s possible to front them.Item Development of accounting policy of the Ukrainian enterprise in the conditions of ifrs and ias(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-12) Lakhtionova, Liudmyla; Trush, IrynaItem Developmental tendencies in the behavioral motives of end consumers(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-10) Mammadov, Sagib YasharItem Digital-інновації в обліку: проблеми та перспективи(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-12) Кононенко, Леся ВіталіївнаItem Directions of increasing the level of financial literacy of personality in the context of social security of citizens in the dialectics of modern axis(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-10-27) Petrushka, O.; Ilchyshyn, O.Item Events marketing trends in 2021(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-10) Крапко, ОленаItem Fiscal policy and its influence on entrepreneurial structures in the conditions of VUCA CHALLENGES(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2021-11-10) Korohodova, Olena; Nartey, Rachel KorkorThis article aims to talk about and analyze the influence of fiscal policy on the entrepreneurship structures in the VUCA concept.
