We analyze ideological and moral principles of the brotherhood, program documents, relations between members and their families. Considerable attention is payed to the brotherhood’s social orientation as well as to V. Vernadsky — initiator of the name «Brotherhood». Peirce which is based on distinguishing of three trichotomies has been performed. According to the first of them signs are divided into qualisign, sinsign, legisign. In the second trichotomy signs are divided into index, icon and symbol. The author considers the Postmodern in the general socio-historical context, examines the place of the post-modern world, where exist and develop modern and premodern socio-cultural community. In the article the reader is invited to conclude on significantly inflated self-esteem heralds of Postmodern, on a simplified understanding of trends and prospects of social and cultural development.
