Abstract
The article defines the directions of transformation of the system of financing
higher education in accordance with the demands of the present. The emphasis was placed on
the expediency of using alternative, modern sources of funding for the education system, which
justifies the need to diversify the funding sources of universities as a necessary factor that affects
the quality of the training of specialists and the development of the country as a whole.
