Abstract
The paper discusses the role of civic education as a critical vector
for the development of democracy. It is crucial to increase the participation
of young people in community life, encourage them to participate in the
policy-making process, and promote democratic dialogue. Today’s
education task is not just to teach but also to form a tolerant society, a
generation with high critical thinking, media and digital literacy, an
understanding of the advocacy process, and policy fundamentals.
