Abstract
У статті розглядається сутність маніпулювання як елементу політичної комунікації. У дослідженні визначено основні тенденції розвитку технологій політичного маніпулювання в контексті інформаційного протистояння та інформаційної війни. Автори намагалися узагальнити значення політичного маніпулювання в умовах інформаційних протистоянь. У контексті інформаційної війни як складової повномасштабної російсько-української війни за незалежність і територіальну цілісність України, важливо, щоб українська державна політика була орієнтована на захист інформаційного простору і спрямована на підвищення рівня інформаційної безпеки та підвищення рівня стійкості до інформаційних загроз. Тому постановка проблеми дослідження стосується вивчення сутності політичного маніпулювання як складової політичної комунікації в епоху інформаційного суспільства. Узагальнено, що маніпулювання як складова політичної комунікації може здійснюватися на різних рівнях: міжособистісному, внутрігруповому, міжгруповому, масовому. Авторами звернено увагу на прояви політичного маніпулювання і його вплив на якість політичної комунікації в українському суспільстві. Спотворення інформації, інформаційні вкиди, формування і поширення наративів та стереотипів мислення є частиною гібридної війни.
Дезінформація в сучасному інформаційному просторі виступає прямою загрозою світовим демократіям. Політичне маніпулювання є потужною частиною комунікації в умовах інформаційної війни, важливим інструментом впливу на світосприйняття і формування свідомості громадян. Акцентовано на важливості пошуку ефективних методів протистояння маніпулятивному впливу як складовій політичної
комунікації в сучасному інформаційному просторі. Зроблено висновки і узагальнення про те, що протидія маніпулятивним технологіям і інформаційному маніпулятивному впливу має стати основою державної політики, орієнтованою на захист інформаційного простору та на підвищення рівня інформаційної безпеки.
This study analyses political manipulation as a component of political communication. It presents the fundamental techniques of political manipulation and identifies the main trends in the development of political manipulation technologies in the context of information confrontation and warfare. In the context of the information war as a component of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, it is crucial for Ukrainian state policy to focus on protecting the information space and enhancing information security and resilience to information threats. Thus, the research problem is the study of political manipulation as a component of political communication in the information society era. The research concludes that manipulation, as a component of political communication, can be carried out at different levels: interpersonal, intragroup, intergroup, and mass. In the context of information warfare, manipulative technologies are becoming increasingly diverse in their form, content, goals and purpose. According to researchers, the dramatic changes taking place in the modern information space have created conditions for their use in the interests of information and psychological influence.
The authors highlight the effects of political manipulation on the quality of political communication in Ukrainian society, specifically in the context of the RussianUkrainian war. It is crucial to avoid distorting information, spreading disinformation, and promoting biased narratives and ways of thinking, as these are all part of hybrid warfare. Misinformation in the modern information space poses a direct threat to global democracies. Therefore, political manipulation is a significant aspect of communication during information warfare. It is a powerful tool for influencing perception and shaping citizens’ awareness. The authors conclude that countering hostile manipulative technologies and information manipulative influence should become the basis of the State’s domestic and foreign policy. This policy should focus on protecting the information space and enhancing the level of information security.
