| dc.description.abstract | Social sphere occupies an important place in the public policies of each country. Migration processes in Ukraine under current conditions of social and economic European integration require proper regulation and management at national level as well as at international one. Activities of the International Organization for Migration in the world in terms of organizational and financial characteristics have been analyzed in the study as well as global strategic direction of the organization (management of migration, information providing of migration issues and cooperation with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, migration services) have been grouped. Directions of activity of international organization in Ukraine have been considered as well as importance of migration policy has been characterized. In particular, the impact of migration policy as part of foreign policy on the formation of social policy through the identifying areas of influence of migratio management on social processes in Ukraine has been analyzed. Identified areas are: the social protection of migrant population; regulation of social relations that takes place through management of adaptive and integration processes of migrant population; development of social infrastructure elements; formation of statistical information on migration flows. The results of the research outline the range of outstanding issues in the relationship of migration and social policy. Therefore, prospects of further research are grounding the recommendations in the direction of state social policy improvement and reforming through the taking into account the needs and requirements of international organizations that manage and regulate migration. | uk |
