Abstract
The article is devoted to determination of jurisdiction of civil cases to courts about the recipient jurisdiction. It investigates the concept of «jurisdiction», explores the importance of the courts, which were divided along functional and territorial characteristics, classification of types of jurisdictio and the action of the court in the case of a violation of the rules of jurisdiction. The article reveals the issues, the facts and circumstances that should be investigated by the court to resolve the error in the determination of jurisdiction in civil cases.
