| dc.description.abstract | The monograph includes a comprehensive synthesis and research analysis of modern paradigms and practices of global competition, strategies and resources of subjects in the field of science and education as an important component of the global knowledge economy. The unity and interdependence of the high competitive status of the national economy, enterprises and the scientific and educational system, institutions of higher education and research are highlighted. The preconditions and factors of formation of the global scientific and educational space are described, the transformation of national strategies of scientific and educational activity, institutional-sectoral and regional formats of global competition in the scientific and educational area, and creative function of universities are described.
