dc.description.abstractУ статті проаналізовано проблему посилення конкурентоспроможності національного ринку праці, який має стати більш привабливим для кваліфікованої робочої сили та інвесторів. З’ясовано, що основними факторами втрати ринком праці України конкурентних переваг у передвоєнні десятиліття є низька оплата праці, недостатня якість робочих місць, малі розміри фінансування науково-дослідних робіт, скорочення обсягів капітальних інвестицій, особливо у виробничий сектор економіки. Окреслено роль ринку праці у подоланні руйнівних наслідків російської воєнної агресії та пандемії Covid-19. Основними напрямами посилення його конкурентоспроможності є модернізація державної політики зайнятості, зокрема поліпшення координації з інвестиційною, грошово-кредитною, податковою політиками, політикою доходів; посилення захисту соціально-економічних прав найманих працівників; професійна і соціально-гуманітарна підготовка робочої сили. In accordance with the aim of the article author formulates the concept of the scientific category "competitiveness of the national labor market" and determines the main factors of its development, relationship with other elements and categories of the market. The relevance of the topic is determined by the need to develop measures aimed at preserving existing and attracting new emloyees and investors to compensate for the loss of labor force and fixed capital of Ukraine, incurred as a result of Russian aggression – bombings and rocket attacks on cities and settlements, large-scale forced emigration. The following research methods are used: system analysis, scientific generalization and comparison, induction and deduction, economic and statistical analysis. The article defines the essence of "competitiveness of the national labor market" concept as market’s ability to withstand competition with similar institutions in other countries for qualified labor with high personal qualities and investors ready for innovative renewal of the production apparatus. The role of the labor market in rapid overcomong the devastating consequences of Russian military aggression and the Covid-19 pandemic is outlined. National labor market development requires modernization of the state employment policy, first of all in the direction of strengthening its coordination with investment, monetary and credit policy, tax policy, foreign economic activity, income policy. In order to strengthen the competitive advantages of the national labor market, it is also necessary to form competitive social and labor relations, which must correspond to the concept of decent work, realistically protect social and economic rights of employees and promote development of human capital, as a source of renewal of Ukraine on an innovative basis. The practical value of the publication lies in the possibility of using its main provisions by state authorities and local self-government bodies, employers' organizations and trade union organizations.uk_UA
