Abstract
У статті розглянуто актуальність дослідження міжнародної конкурентоспроможності країни, що пов’язана із посиленням конкурентної боротьби та котра спонукає держави до безперервного пошуку нових можливостей економічного зростання та інклюзивного розвитку. Проаналізовано звіти міжнародних інституцій, що досліджують міжнародну конкурентоспроможність, соціальний прогрес країн світу, принципи глобальної конкурентоспроможності у період глобальних економічних трансформацій та дозволяють уряду розробити дорожні карти, а також вжити необхідних заходів для довгострокового планування та відновлення економіки з метою досягнення сталого та всеосяжного розвитку нашої держави. Досліджено питання конкурентоспроможності України в умовах глобальних ризиків сучасного економічного середовища та поглиблено дослідження Індексу соціального прогресу як одного із ключових показників конкурентного розвитку національної економіки. Авторами роботи було розроблено стратегічні рекомендації та пріоритети подальшого конкурентного розвитку держави у післявоєнний період.
The article examines the relevance of studying the international competitiveness of a country, which is associated with increased competition and which encourages states to continuously seek new opportunities for economic growth and inclusive development. The article analyses reports of international institutions that study international competitiveness, social progress of countries, principles of global competitiveness in the period of global economic transformations and allow the government to develop roadmaps and take the necessary measures for long-term planning and economic recovery in order to achieve sustainable and comprehensive development of our country. The article pays attention to the work of experts from reputable international organisations that study the competitive positions of countries, provide recommendations for their enhancement and develop reports covering certain aspects of economic development. The article examines the issue of Ukraine's competitiveness in the context of global risks of the current economic environment and provides an in-depth study of the Social Progress Index as one of the key indicators of competitive development of the national economy. As a result of the war, Ukraine has suffered enormous damage to its economy, social welfare and infrastructure, and the country is facing a new reality that requires an adaptive approach to the recovery and development of different regions. The authors of this paper have formed the attributes of a competitive state according to the methodology of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils, identified the priorities for sustainable development of Ukraine, highlighted the main areas of encouragement and support for the government Ukraine on the way to a safer, more prosperous and sustainable country and proposed measures to improve the innovative competitiveness of the state. Social progress has become an important factor in economic leadership, comprehensive competitive development and national security. The military situation has increased the importance of innovation and the development of the country's scientific and technological potential and has become an important condition for the country's post-war revival. The analysis in this paper shows that Ukraine has the potential to position itself as a key player in the global economy of the future.
