| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this paper is to examine the directions and forms of cooperation betweenbusiness and educational institutions from the perspective of the corporate socialresponsibility concept. The article analyses the level of unemployment among young adults and the patterns of unemployment among young people who have recently graduated fromeither upper secondary or tertiary educational institutions of the 1st-4th accreditation level inUkraine, basing on statistical information. The author has identified the obstacles faced byyoung professionals as they begin their career journey in the labour market. The paper hasalso substantiated that the modern education system that trains specialists for the Ukrainian labour market needs to be improved and further developed, in particular through the collaboration between educational institutions and businesses within the scope of social responsibility. The research has analysed the modern socially responsible practices of interaction between business entities and higher educational institutions of Ukraine. Theauthor has determined the major forms of cooperation between business and educationalinstitutions, in particular in the field of research and development, academic and studentmobility, entrepreneurial initiatives, curriculum development, management, etc. Moreover,this paper has proved that effective interaction between businesses and educationalinstitutions is an effective tool in the process for improving quality and raising standards in education, as well as equipping students with the skills and experiences to allow them to become leaders in their chosen careers. | uk |
